Don’t worry—you can still catch it on demand! In this recorded session, Dr. Sy shares invaluable insights into the MSDA test, highlighting its clinical applications, scoring interpretation, and strategies for managing patients in longitudinal care.
Using real patient case examples, Dr. Sy demonstrates how MSDA scores inform clinical decision-making and shape treatment strategies in multiple sclerosis management.
Dr. Michael Sy, a board-certified neurologist, specializes in multiple sclerosis and other autoimmune diseases that affect the central nervous system. He earned both his medical degree and PhD through the UCI School of Medicine’s combined physician-scientist training program, followed by completing his neurology residency and neuroimmunology fellowship at UCI Medical Center.
Beyond his clinical work in diagnosis and treatment, Dr. Sy actively contributes to the field through translational research and clinical trials, focusing on demyelinating autoimmune diseases of the central nervous system. His dual role as both practitioner and researcher allows him to bridge the gap between laboratory discoveries and patient care.
